The aim of this plant is the self-supply the entire factory, whilst at the same time selling the excess energy to electricity companies.

The engine works by internal combustion and is powered by natural gas.

The generating plant creates approximately 20% of the consumption of steam of the factory. It works 16 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
